Music director Tez Smith finished the closer so we devoted this weekend to learning it. It’s faced paced music and it’s very technical but the trumpets have managed to get through most of it.
Once again Paul did an excellent job of teaching the music to the trumpet and we had quite a good laugh too. It’s going to be a great year with yet another strong trumpet line. Tony wasn’t able to play this weekend due to issues with his teeth and commented that he felt fustrated not being able to play in the line, so he resorted to helping us keep time in our sectional. There are rumors of more brass members joining the line which could mean that we will be marching about 18 trumpets.
